Traditional Funeral Service from £2215.00 (Plus, cemetery and crematorium disbursements.)
This includes transfer of the deceased to our chapel of rest, a traditional oak veneered coffin with six handles, hearse, attendance and conducting the funeral, conveyance and service of pallbearers, chapel of rest visits Monday to Friday by appointment and ou full 24-hour personal service. If you wish to choose an alternative coffin, we have many choices at varying costs. In addition to our costs, you will have further disbursements.
These can include the cost of a church (approx. £275.00)
- Minister or civil celebrant (approx. £228.00)
- Council fees for a grave purchase and cost of interment (a new grave at Southern Cemetery) etc. £2070.00
- Reopen interment fees at Southern Cemetery £950.00
or alternatively crematorium fees which can vary considerably.
- Manchester Crematorium charges £930.00
- Altrincham Crematorium charges £825.00
- Stockport Crematorium charges £980.00
If cremation is the preferred option, then there may be additional costs of £82.00 for the doctor’s cremation certificate which is payable to the GP or hospital doctor. We can provide you with a written estimate of the proposed costs at any time, and endeavour to offer a clear choice of options when arranging a funeral.
We will require a deposit of the disbursements prior to the funeral.
The funeral account is due within 30 days of our account.
The Direct Cremation Service from £550.00
(At Manchester Crematorium) Plus Crematorium & Doctors fees. Total £952.00
We offer a Direct Cremation Service from £550 plus disbursements in circumstances where there is to be no service, either religious or secular, and mourners will not be attending, we are able to offer the following service:
- Transfer of the deceased from the place of death to our Chapel of Rest (within a ten mile radius) in normal working hours
- Provision of a simple coffin with direct transfer to a local crematorium
Disbursements at current prices:
- Manchester crematorium £320.00
- Doctors’ cremation fees. £82.00
- Total £952.00
What does the service include
Disbursements at current time are:
- Our professional fees including and conducting funeral arrangements in accordance with instructions, preparation of documentation in liaison with appropriate authorities
- Making the necessary disbursement payments on your behalf
- Transfer of the deceased from the place of death to our Chapel of Rest (within a ten mile radius) in normal working hours
- The provision of a practical coffin suitable for cremation and dressing gown robe
- A suitable vehicle and attendance for transportation direct to the nearest crematorium on the day of the funeral
- Transfer of the deceased from the place of death to our Chapel of Rest (within a ten mile radius) in normal working hours
- Provision of a simple coffin with direct transfer to a local cemetery
- Southern cemetery (including purchase/internment fee of a new grave for a resident) £2070.00
- Southern cemetery (including re-opening of existing grave for a resident) £950.00
Direct Burial Service from £750.00
(At Southern Cemetery for a resident) Plus cemetery fees)
We offer a Direct Burial Service from £750 plus disbursements in circumstances where there is to be no service, either religious or secular, and mourners will not be attending, we are able to offer the following service:
